I know people that take there children to Hooter's. I just think it's not the right place for them. Yesterday my husband took our 16 month old there. He knew ahead of time how I felt about it. He things that it's okay because the women wear cloths ( even though the outfit is almost a bikinni).

The only worrisome ages would be between 5 and 16.. anything younger than 5, they simply don't get it.

BTW, If they're under 5 and you take them, you might have a problem for months and years later as the youngn's tell everybody that they went to "Hooters". Then these other "adults" will be telling you what they think about it.

Personally the part of the world I live in; has no such place called hooters that I've ever heard of. But by sounds of things, for a child to be going to a place where they are almost falling out of there clothes. I agree a child that age shouldn't be going to a place with that sort of background. It should be age generated, such an place like that!

perfectly alright...he's gonna see it soon anyway, you may not believe or like it but he will...there's worst things on tv...and i find nothing wrong with showing the human body...especially since a lot of women on the streets and at beaches wear less then the girls at hooter's...and how much do u think he will actually remember about it if he's only 16 months old? most people's first memories are around the ages of 3 and 4 years old

I totally disagree bringing kids under a certain age to Hooter's. It's simply inappropriate for the kids to watch women in such an outfit.

No, sounds to me like he was using the 16 months old to get the girls to talk to him. If I were you I'd be mad because he sure isn't going there for the food. Lets face it sex sells, but there are better places for food and cheaper. I sure would have a long long talk with him about it. Of course if he was looking for a place to get the child some breast milk that's different

NO! It is not OK to take a child at any age to such place! the only people who hang out there are men, and in there case they are children looking for eye candy and hoping to boost their own egos. but reality is these girls would never chat or be pleasantly nice to them in any other situation. ( except if they had alot of money (0.0) lol)

The only way I would take my kid to Hooters is if I wanted him to grow up to be a perverted lunatic! Why men think this behavior is okay, is beyond me!

i honestly dont really think that anyone should be going there
no matter what their age
its disgusting how they portray women and their bodies
not all of us are that willing to strip down our clothes and push up our bras to make some money

I never have, and never would, take my children their. Especially my daughter. Kids can wait later in life to see that sad side of our culture.
