because the military gets paid by the government and the pro sports players get paid by ticket sell, endorsements, commericals during the games all kinds of places...that is why pro sports players get paid more...if they have what it takes to make money, then they get paid the money...as for the military men and women...their income is set by the government...

There is a law of demand and offer. If those who are in the army can, let them beome pro-sports. I have studied many years, I have PhD degree, I do work that helps preserve heritage of centuries of civilisation, and a footballer, or an actor, or even a bimbo who goes out with a rich guy, gets in a year more than I shall ever get in my whole life. So why complain about the military only?

What those people make is absolutely disgusting!! I get that they are talented, but when someone has to pay somebody MILLIONS of dollars to do what they do, it makes me ill to think about it! If everyone got paid like that for what they are good at, we'd all be in better shape!!
