I think it is about sharing...Some people are born with ability to express themselves well, some people value their private life.
It is hard where to place yourself..sometimes people misunderstand that you are self centered or you are hiding something and not honest.
I prefer listening to people talk about themselves as long as I could learn from them, but too much is not good.. when you are going to apply for a job..like interview you have to be good at that..and that is called confidence..

Because they find themselves so darn interesting, like all of us, but never picked up that other people do not. Besides, in conversation, you have to talk about one of the two people, their experiences, or their ideas. If there's no give-and-take, then one of the people is self-centered.
