You may be suffering from sleep apnea. Oxygen deprivation will definitely cause your mind to become 'foggy' as you describe. A good nights sleep attached to a Bi-pap machine might be helpful.
They do have portable models in case you need to walk around.

Go to the meeting again so you know that you've been. Your forgetfullness then may mean that you have a lot of support through the constant meetings you attend. Which can't hurt:)

You will also avoid being bored of the meetings this way, if you can't remember them it's new every time:)

Set an alarm clock for the meeting time, stick it in a pocket of the pants you're going to wear. When the alarm goes off, you'll be at the meeting and you'll remember. That's what I did and it worked. Unfortunately, it also woke up everyone around me and they revoked my membership.
