Roller Rinks?

Question

What ever Happened to a good roller rink...I remember being able to go a stay for the longest time. And not haveing to worry about creeps steeling you are being wierd with you...I miss that my children don't have a place like that to go to socialize. What do ya'll think..Did you like the roller rinks or not?

I used to go every Saturday afternoon when I was a child! I loved it.
There is a roller rink about 15 miles from where I live, and it's always packed. If you offer kids something fun to do, they WILL come!
It's kind of like Drive-In Theaters.

I agree! There's a rollerskating rink in my area though that is really nice and always filled with fun kids and no drama. I think it just depends on where you live. Maybe you could Yahoo or Google it and see if there is a one a short ways away from where you live that you could check out? Unfortunately I think with the changing of times rollerskating rinks aren't as popular with people, same with bowling alleys. They're around, but they aren't as prevalant as they used to be.

i enjoyed the couple skates...the funny games the world play...the people dancing AND skating....watching skate-offs.....racing around the rink.....the food...the music...the games....the GIRLS.....it was fun...it was and is something that ill never forget....especially having birthday parties at the rink...ALL MAN THE WAS THE BEST TIIME I HAD....the cake and ice cream and the v.i.p privledges.....
anyway it would nice to have something like that but, i guess everyone is on the internet answering question on yahoo answer!

its not like that here...i dont think...(i dont go that often) last time i went u could stay all night...i like skatin rinks...there fun...lol...
