Are Hindu Indians discriminated against in the UK?

British people are very law abiding. There may be some discrimination on account of color or as a outsider. I will not agree that discrimination is made against Hindu religion.

The British used to regard the muslims higher than hindus b/c muslims were people of the Book who believed in Adam & Eve and so on while hindus were superstitious idol worshippers. But I think now they are beginning to understand that hindus are peaceful hard-working good citizens while muslims are troublemakers. But many times they don't differentiate b/w hindus or muslims. Some hate all Asians. I have a cousin who wants to become a doctor and he says he has to work twice as hard as whites to be competitive in the field.

They are peaceful & respectful people. Why would anyone discriminate against anyone who is peaceful & respectful?

Muslims are the problem and have become targets of discrimination due to some of their peoples savage violent actions around the Globe.
