Well For the last few weeks I have getting bite up while I sleep..It isn't bed bugs, or spiders. I have been working alot in my lawn but as soon as I walk in the door I take a quick shower to wash off. Now is it possibe I could be bringing Chiggers in to my home? Can they be bitting me and my husband while we sleep. They Bites are huge and itchy. They can take up to a week to heel and they are leaving ugly scars. Is there any home remedies I can made do to stop the itch and heel the bite so it won't leave a scar? I have been getting my bites on my back, stomach, under my breasts, and on my waist line. I am going nuts with the itch nothing over the counter is helping me. I am suffering with these bites...I also seen a doctor and what I was given didn't help...

Chiggers don't just bite they dig under you skin and keep biting i have been told if you put fingernail polish on the bites it will kill them i have never done but other people have said the same i got chiggers one time while walking through some tall grass in S E Okla i had scrubbed and scrubbed the bits with alcohol this finally worked after using a whole bottle.
You could also be getting fleas or mosquito's if you take garlic pills or eat a lot of garlic this will keep the bloodsuckers off of you but you still need to treat the bites you have Good luck

It probably is Chiggers, I learned about them the hard way. A paste made with baking soda will help the itch as well as calamine lotion. But also check for ticks. Wash all your bed linens in Hot water. And vacuum your bed and pillows.

Get some of those bug "bombs" and gas your house with them. You have to go out for a few hours while it's happening, and remove any pets or plants and make sure food is well covered so as not to contaminate it. It's worth the trouble though. They really clean the place up! Calamine is supposed to be good for cooling itches.

you have probly got what my dad used to call red bugs they are just chiggers . to find out if thats what they are get you a magnified glass and look at the area before you scratch . one will be there .they are a microscopic red dot they could be just under the skin so you might need to use a needle to scratch the surface to bring it up to see it . but dont scratch with fingers because that will just move them around to another spot to go at it again. hope this helps also you can take a vinegar bath to help get rid of them.

I'm pretty sure chiggers live in the skin, if that is indeed what they are. I'd look into it and have someone give you a medical opinion. I think they can be fairly easy to get rid of, but you need to make sure you've identified the right culprit first.

Fumigate your home. Use a fogger. You will have to close your door and windows and leave a few hours but that should kill any bugs around the house. Find it at home depot or walmart.

A good thing to use is (AVEENO) lotion to sooth the heat, pain, itch
it is enriched with natural oatmeal also fog your house out ,and take yourself and all animals with you overnight somewhere. If skin
does not get better (don't play around seek out a good dermatologist ) as skin illness can sometimes be related to a more serious illness.

I forgot the name of the parasite, but they live just under your skin. They eat away at your flesh (don't worry, the parasites are microscopic, so the don't eat much) and make tunnels to nest in. this causes itchiness
