Merchant of Venice written by Shakespeare is Romantic Tragedy.
With Antonio,Portia,Bassanio,.Shylock as Main Actors.
Antonio and Shylock are money lenders.Antonio is good one and Shylock is Devil.Shylock tries to trap Antonio by lending money for Antonio`s friend Bassanio ,who tries to capture attention of Portia(Princess)and does so.Shylock tries to kill Antonio by lawsuit.Antonio is portrayed as innocent.In end Portia (wife of Bassanio) comes in disguise and helps Antonio

according to me'merchant of venice' was a play written by william shakespeare and it was a very good story also, you can call it is as a true love story in it you can defined a good definition of mercy. in a poem and get knowledge about trust and froad.
