this guy hit the side of my car the other day and pushed my bumper in and up a alil and he broke my reem! of course my tired was done for(new tire) my question is... my back tire is now facing inn a little bit is these expensive to fix? it looks pretty dumb, is it worth fixing? can it cause a mechanical problem(its not right now)? any asnwere would be help full. thanks 4 ur time. Oh and if ur thinking why worry if insurace can pay 4 it, The other drive and I agreet to take care of our own damage because it was an accident caused by another car that left the crash seen thus we decided to not involve the insurance, stupid? maybe.

Yes, it can cause mechanical problems. The misalignment will only make itself worse, especially at highway speeds. Only your garage can tell you how much it will cost - it may only need to be realigned, or you may have bent/broken something that needs to be replaced. As with most things, labour will be a bigger expense than any parts.

First of all, contact your insurance agency anyways.

How new is the car? If it falls under a manufacturers warrenty, that might help.

I would have a mechanic look at the car and tell me if it needed to be fixed - better safe than sorry.

take the car to Big-O or some other shop and have them do a 4 wheel alignment. And yes you should have called the police and your insurance co.

It does need to be fixed! It may or may not be expensive depends on if parts be to be replaced or just adjusted...Don't drive it this way get it fixed 1st!
