Why did FIFA chose him to receive Golden Ball ?

He did right up until the head butt. I still can't believe the writers voted for him. Even if the Italian player sad the meanest thing in the world to him, he should have held his temper and beat Italy on the field. But, Zidane does have a history of dumb moves like this.

He shouldn't have reacted the way he did; however he's a bril;liant football player and his qualitites are undeniable, he showed great technical abilities and tackles during this world cup. I don't support him, but i think he deserved golden ball.

personally I'd give to RIBEY or Zambrotta or Thirry Henry or Figo or anyone else but not Zidan, maybe he plays good almost prefect but not after what I've seen on TV

No matter what he did ,he still deserve a GB.CAn u easily find er than Zizou .All his devotion Should be well-gratitude.If u 're once his fan,do you remember why u're choose him as your idol.?You can answer it tha means you don't forget the lesson of sympathy for your lover.

as much as i dont like to admitt it "Ronaldhino" of Brazil played amazingly the whole tournament. he is definatly not an underdog but did live up to his rep and deserved Goldan Ball.

no way he almost only scored of of penalty kicks that werent penaltys. he also headbutted the guy and made him go flyin . he let his team down by bein a man down and they didn't have him for pks what a dum way to retire
