Dear Mahwish,
Now I am not sure about your location - but here is a Sample Business Plans for a dairy farm based in Pakistan (so it is equally applicable for India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh) you would have just adjust the numbers for your location.
Dairy Farm (50 Animals)
http://www.smeda.org/info.php?id=51
Also if you contact your local SMEDA office (if you are doing this in Pakistan) they will assign you a consultant who will at no cost to you guide you step by step in setting your farm. Now don't get confused your case worker will not do any thing for you - JUST GUIDE YOU. i.e help in finding contractors, and equipment makers etc. . .
Here is the best thing that can happen to you when it comes to writing a business plan
Business Plan Pro by Palo Alto Software
http://www.paloalto.com
They have plans, samples, and tons and tons of stuff on their website - the software is just awesome. I have been their customers since 2000 - updating my software every 2 years regularly.
Since 2000 I have written around 8 proposals using this software some for myself and some for close friends and family. 3 out of the eight were used for financing purposes and all qualified.
The financial tables in this software are so great and detailed that when you present your plan the person reviewing it has no doubt in their mind that you are a professional and very serious about your business.
Now if you have experience you can use their website to write a fairly decent business plan without purchasing anything - by looking at samples and table of contents you will get a fair idea.
But if you have the software you will be able to save a lot of time and if the bank requires you to make changes you will be able to do it in no time.
Remember you will need to give it a week or so to get the hang of the software it used to come with two wonderful books - I am not sure if they give you one now or not.
It is an excellent tool - keeping your business in line with your targets and tracking your actual with your targets and etc.
I am a person who learns faster from examples then from theory and this thing comes with 400+ sample plan and for me that was the best.

Take a step back, and look at the big overview of your buisness. What are you doing well at the moment, what's doing badly? A good first step is to divide these up into columns.
Now, what opportunities do you have, and what threats? Again, do the same thing (these steps are called a SWOT analysis)
Now write down your financial infomation. What's your profit margin, how much you have for investment etc, what your daily productivity is.
The basis of a buisness plan really is the analysis of infomation, and the examination of options through it. For instance, would it serve you well to invest in more cows? Maybe you could lower the price, and sell more milk as a result for a higher profit margin. Every buisness is different, so there's no clear answer, but that's a good basis to start on. Weigh up the pro's and cons of each option you think you have, and -always- prepare for negative eventuallies, you never can tell when something unexpected is going to come along.
