What do you understand of the opposite sex?
I admit I own islands of knowledge on this subject but when I try to place it all together it sinks like the Atlantis because there are so many contradictions.

People are too quick to categorize people as a man or a woman. I believe a man can easily understand a certain women just as a certain woman can easily understand a certain man. Only people that are very heavily characterized by social teachings will have the misfortune of not being close with BOTH sexes.

There is no straight forward solution to your question. Some men are strange, yet women can be just as strange if not worse.
It is not unlike people branding men as aggressors, but women can be just as bad.
Recently there were reports of men being abused by their women - result the men killed their partners.
These are examples of how much men understand about women, and vice-versa.

Men don't have the right brains to understand womens brains. An interpreter would have a frustrating time trying to translate because what has one meaning for a man has fifty meanings for a woman.

I believe that men want to have control over women not realizing that women want to be in control of their own lives.
Women want to have control over men not realizing that men have issues about being controlled by women. You see more women in pants than you do men in skirts.
Understanding the opposite sex is good but understanding the individual is what needs to be important.

never. women are a mystery as old as time itself. dating back to the days when gods and goddesses roamed the Earth. I get the impression that even though Athena was a goddess Odysseus still didn't understand her

not even men understand men - and the same for woman-
we are human beings - we differ, we change - but at the same time we try to understand each other every day !

I don't think we are meant to understand the opposite sex. There is more and more proof that are brains are wired differently from birth.

with a smile and a touch they can make a bad day good
did I mention they confuse me LOL
