It's there ANOTHER doctor that you can get into???

I had to when I was about 8 months pregnant. MY original doctor KICKED me out of his practice!!! I had to get another OB/GYN FAST!!!

If you aren't satisfied, find another one!

Trust me, you'll know when you get a real contraction, you won't be able to speak!!! It'll hurt like nothing you can imagine. When the real contractions are 5 minutes apart or so, get yourself to the hospital.

Then again, if you are worried, go to the emergency room where they'll monitor you for signs of impending birth. You could be one of those extremely rare women who don't hurt as much with contractions. Some women's bag of water doesn't break until the baby is about to come out, btw.

If you feel like your having contractions, you shouldn't feel scared about going to the hospital. They can help you, and by the sound of things, you need some from somewhere.

I was having mild pain every 5 minutes for about an hour with my second son. My husband rang the hospital to check, and they suggested I come in. My water broke about an hour later.

So don't be afraid to call the hospital. Especially, if it is your first baby.

Things can get complicated very quickly.

Sorry, I don't mean to scare you.

Good luck.......

Your only option is to see your doctor or go to the hospital labor and delivery floor. I have had false contractions and yes it can be irritating to drive to the hospital just to get sent home when they are false but better safe than sorry than to sit here on the net asking the world wide web.

o - you will know for sure when it starts. It'll be more regular and often - like you can time it for instance every 5th minute, and you will know the difference in strenght! When it starts pain will be noticeably different. Just calm down and trust your doctor and nurse. They know what they are doing.

Pain in lower back can be hormonal slack in muscles and it is not dangerous. Move slow, but do move around. Walk with shorter steps. And most important: calm down.
