I think it's a beautiful country, with a lot of diversity. Unfortunately many poor people, but also the amount of rich people is growing. I think India is great in IT and is very good at new business initiatives. I would love to visit the country sometime soon, although it is not always safe for a girl on her own to travel around. I love the fact that they are almost all bilingual, which can't be said of most countries.

This is my answer.

I think India is like just about every other country on our planet except for one thing.

The size of your population. For this reason and it alone I think
India has great potential. Few, very few, countries have a citizen population of over 1 billion.

With that many souls India could become an inspiration to the world. But as with all things it is a choice.

Regards

There is chaos. It's the Wild West. There is no consistent rule of law; it's every man for himself. There can be no progress for India without cooperative effort. Why bother painting lines on the highways when they mean nothing to drivers? Why bother paying for electricity when you can bribe someone and steal it? The magic of India is, despite this haphazardness, it somehow muddles on. But I fear things will get worse before they get better. It's been a while since the last widespread rioting.

I have wanted to go to India for a long time! It seems like it would be an amazing experience, and from pictures I have seen it looks very beautiful and unique. But, I have also heard of it not always being that safe for travelers, especially white women that are by themselves. And the diseases you can catch from mosquitos is not a good thing. But I would love to go there someday, and those things would not stop me.
