His presidency is troubling.

He started out vactioning instead of being in washington.
Never met with his counter terrorism chief.

We get hit......not his fault.
Leads a war into Afghanistan....great job troops.
but then, allows his DOD or rather Rumsfeld to stall on deploying ground troops to Tora Bora.
The DoD did not want to take orders from the CIA.

Our country sadley has been hit before by terrorism both domestic and forieng.ie Mc Viegh and the first WTC bombing.

we were able to use the intellegence tools need to bring them to justice, no need for a war on the use of terror as a tatic.

in other words Terror is a blanket term that they could use to justify many things.

Troubling because..................

the wire taps without warrents went on before 9/11

Troubling because the war on terror could go on forever.....meaning the president could claim to be above and beyond the constititon forever......

Troubling because he sold the health intrest of the people to phramasuticals........the fed can't

Troubling because he advocates huge Tax Cuts in a time of war.
advocates tax cuts with the increased fed spending and expanding government......
advocates tax cuts while the deficit is so large that future generations will pay for his mistakes..........

i could go on and on.... everything from geneva conventions to the enviroment......

Well, you went fishing for answers you wanted to hear, the clue is in "supposed" He isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread, but he's not all bad. The president really is just a fall guy for the decisions House and Senate make, no real power there, except veto.

As for other aspects of his service, the country seems to be doing alright, interest is down, unemployment is no worse, crime is slightly lower, but it really doesn't matter. In a few years we will have another person sitting in the Oval Office, and nobody will like that one either.

I don't think Santa Claus is going to run, and the Genie was let out of the bottle a long time ago. There are no perfect people, so there will never be a perfect leader.

I don't know a whole lot about Bush's presidency, but from what I do know, I think we could have worse. He's not the best president, and all his gramatical mistakes are pretty funny especially since he went to Harvard (or was it Yale?). But sometimes I feel bad for him, because I see so much anti-Bush stuff and hear of so many people who hate him, and I think that he's trying. I wish all the people who complain about him would just stop complaining and maybe put some ideas out there or at least say why they hate him, because I never really hear any reasons other than "he's ruining the country and making everyone hate us!"

He like his father is only good for sending American troops off to war and get killed. The Bush empire is nothing but greedy and they only think about themselves and the power they wanna obtain by doing what they do. I was a teen when his dad was president so I don't really know how he ran the country. This Bush definitely can't run this country at all.

Presedent Bush is a typical evang-christian. If 9/11 would have never happened, he may have been just another president that nobody really cared about who just pushed political policies that went nowhere. But since 9/11 he's decided to take the cowboy approach to handling things. Sorry George, but cowboys are a dead race :P and modernity killed it!

GW really isn't that bad of a president, but when you package him up with guys like Chaney, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowits things are going to get ugly.

Ruining, not running. I can't wait 'till 2008. Let's hope we get a real leader.

Wonderful. No one would want to have to deal with what he has had to in these last two terms!

he's the worst terrorist the world has ever had..

and what makes it worse is that his actions are "legal" though not valid!

sadly....inspite of what he is, he's still an elected representative of the american people...
