for a dance show, don't worry about using actual stage make-up. It's not as important, from what I've seen. You'd probably be okay with a bit of concealer, whatever the stuff is that goes on your whole face is, mascara, and a bit of lip stick or lip balm. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm not sure what an orange kaftaan is ^^; But since your costume seems relatively simple, your make-up should be too. If the orange is a bright orange, you may want to wear bright make-up, yanno?

you might want to try KANEBO, a japanese brand. it's quite famous for its stage makeup foundation. its called stage color, if i remember it correctly. but if you cant find that brand. i think MAC is good, too. since you're going to be onstage, your makeup should be a little darker and more dramatic, in my opinion. coz if youre going to apply it the normal/natural way, it would look like you dont have any makeup on at all. you need makeup that will make you stand out and also, last throughout your dance.

The lights on stage just make you look really pale, so wear a little more blush than actually looks good (apply it to wear it looks normal and then add a little more). That way when it pales you out, you'll still be the right color.
Mascara and lip stick might be good, too.

I'd love to try to answer this, but unfortunately I'm not using text messaging and in Yahoo! we tend to like to read REAL words!!! If you want to submit questions here, you might want to do that. Thanks.
I should have checked to see if this is your first question, which it IS! Your next question (and I'm sure there will be more), don't use your chat room/text message lingo! Pretend you're talking to your parents and use real language.

It's MAC , i know this because my mom said MAC was first made for stage performers, thats why it's so amazingly bright and long lasting .. and therefore... expensive lol
