Tip: If you are running safe mode because you cannot get into Windows you may want to try first loading the last known good configuration.

To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

Trouble Getting into Windows 2000 or Windows XP Safe mode - If after several attempts you are unable to get into Windows 2000 or Windows XP safe mode as the computer is booting into Windows turn off your computer. When the computer is turned on the next time Windows should notice that the computer did not successfully boot and give you the safe mode screen.

Note: With some computers if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message as the computer is booting. If this occurs instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key" tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu.

Download the TweakUI powertoy for Windows XP from the microsoft site (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx).

Select the Logon}Auto Logon option.

Start --> Control panel --> User Accounts
In the users tab
Unchecked the checkbox named as "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"
Press the ok button

Goto start\run and type "control.exe userpasswords2" untick users must enter a password

simply go to the control panel, click on user accounts, at the top select the choice "change the way users log in or off" uncheck "use welcome screen" and also uncheck "fast user switching." reboot your system and you will not need to log on anymore it will just boot up to your desktop.

NOO don't delete the account
if u delete it u'll lose every data on it
just remove password for account

You can have a name just delete the password and replace it blank.

go to start , then contol panel , then click on users then then delete ur account.
