It's not always the size of your deck that counts. It's how you use it that matters most. Perhaps you should try serving your wife a tasty meal on your deck.
Invite some of your wife's friends over to spend some time on your deck and maybe they can give her some insight that she might have
overlooked.

You just need to provide more fun time on your deck for your wife. Then she wouldn't see the attraction of your neighbors deck. By the way quintessence, I have taken all the bushes down to the ground around my deck.

If you could shrink yourself your deck would look much bigger.
Also, try having small people sit on your deck, that will make your deck look bigger too. HAHAHA

my wife is always looking at the neighbors deck too. but i use it to my advantage when she comes home from looking at his deck we play on mine.
