Need to know the name of a film starring Jodie Foster.She's quite young in it so probably around the ''Taxi-Driver'' time.
I think she murders her mother and keeps her in the cellar,when the local police-man comes around he finds one of her mothers red finger-nails.....
I know it's not much to go on but that's all I can remember.

Plot Summary: Rynn Jacobs is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives in a secluded house that she and her father have rented in a quiet seaside community. could be Echoes of the Summer
I searched it in IMDB.com and that seemed to be the closest I could find... or at least the freakiest. That was also in 1976, the same year as Taxi Driver
