Tattoos by themselves do not definie a woman as being any of those things.
Her personality and life choices are what really shows who and what she is...not a area of permament ink.

Times change and the answer to your question is probably going to be different depending on the age of the answerer. I'm an old fart - but heres my two cents worth on the issue:
When I was growing up, the only girls who wore tattoos were prostitutes and the like. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them btw - just the way it was. Now, suddenly, it's become fashionable and all these girls are running out to do what everyone else is doing. Tattoo's on a girl are a turnoff to me - not because of the tattoo... but because of what it says about her:
"I am a carbon copy of everyone else. Forget individuality and self-determination, I want to follow the crowd."
That is a turnoff.

Tats on a girl can be very sexy. BUT SLUTTISH, SCARY, are two words I would never use to describe tats on a girl. SLUTTISH? You are kidding right? SCARY? Again you must be kidding. You sound like your anti-tat. In which case don't even bother looking. Tats are a way to express yourself. They ARE ART.Nothing more. Tats does NOT make a person a slut. And they don't make a person scary. BUT more so a girl.

well, tattoos have had a negative impact on people as you can see in the answers you have received. it is not how the tattoo carries the person, it is how the person carries the tattoo.... if a tattooed girl happens to be a hooker, it meant that the tattoo make you look like a hooker (to the public eye) but actually she carries and choose to carry herself that way. If you feel sexy, and choose a tattoo that you feel is sexy, then the tattoo is sexy. i have known many professional women who has had tattoo, and no they don't have no self respect.. for them, it is how they express themselves. some want to be feeling a bit rebellious, others want to be feeling like a warrior or just simply they admire body art..... But if you want to get a tattoo....search and research any info u can get. i wanted to get one since i was 11.. i did my research and search for the right one..i finally got my first one when i turned 21. there are more to come and i am now searching for the right proffesional artists.

You are right. Every man is going to have different tastes. I know I can only speak for myself, but I prefer a woman DOES NOT have tattoos. I do not have tattoos. I like to think I am not defiling my body with a bunch of nasty and tacky tattoos. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a few tats that are done in good taste. However, when one has them all over her body like Kat Von D of LA Ink, then it is nasty and wrong. If bikers and hardcore prison inmates think you have too many tats all over your body, then you need to check yourself. If one quits becoming black, white or any other ethnicity and becomes ink people then you got too much ink on her body. If one decides to get a tattoo, they really need to think about futures. How is that tat going to look in 5, 10, 15 or more years when one gets older? Over time, tattoos start fading or stretching when one puts on a little weight. Do you want to be the old person with the scary tattoos? Also one needs to think about where they put those tattoos. A strategically placed shoulder, back or leg tat is OK, but anywhere else is tacky. And never should one put any ink on their face! One needs to think about future job prospects. Kat Von D would be a much prettier woman if she didn't ave all those tats. It is a shame that she has defiled her body with all that ink. For some people getting tattoos can be an addiction. I dated one chick who got a tattoo and then another and another. Next thing you know, she was running out of places on her body. It was a source of argument between us. She wouldn't have any of my pleas to stop. She is too pretty for tattoos.

I think they look like sh*t! Getting mine was one of the biggest regrets of my life. Someday I'm gonna get it removed, but I hear it is both painful & expensive. My best advice: don't do it!!! Most likely, you will wish you had never done it, long before you get old. Who wants to someday be a wrinkled up old prune WITH TATOOS?????!
Even if you do get something small and inconspicuous, whatever you do, DON'T mark up your body with someone's name. If and when the relationship ends, you are STUCK with it. Also, your next partner will be stuck with it as well!

depends on what country you're at. In the philippines, it's slutty.
but it depends on the wearer, i think. it's like a dress you see. It could look great on a person but would not exactly appear nice when worn by another.
