Well, Studies have shown that life started with a single cell organism. This was figured by the adaptation that they grew to multiple cells which were mammals. So the correct answer would be "The chicken came before the egg.

well between the chicken and the eggg it was the chicken since eggs can't have sex yet but when you include the rooster then of course the rooster came first or at least thats what the chicken is always complaining about LOL

impossible. if the rooster came first there would have been no chicken, the chicken came first. it couldn't have been the egg either because there would have been no one around to hatch it and the chicken would never have been born.
