it only becomes a problem when you get so many daft phrases that they start to seem normal and then you use them in every day conversation and can't understand why people look at you funny

Not always, the most striking incident was when I got the word "mangelwurzel" stuck in my head for like 3 weeks. I couldn't remember where I had heard or read it and wasn't sure if it was even a real word. It is, it happens to be a type of large yellow European Sugar beet. For REAL. I still can't figure out where I had heard it though.
But mostly it's songs or images I get stuck on.

Before i go any further, im not strange. (well i might be a tad strange..... well a bit..... ok then, quite strange)
But sometimes i get a snippet of a scene from The Simpsons stuck in my head.
The scarey part is that, the episode with that scene in it will be shown within the next 4 days.
Back on topic....
There are so many scenes/ideas/lines from B5 that wont leave my head thats its quite worrying.

We had a question approximately New Jersey in college and that i related it to the music Jersey via Mayday Parade. It became into caught in my head for something of the day. Edit- Haha! That music has a tendency to be very catchy.
