He would say they show that his second account of meaning is not fully adequate.

How many 'language games' are being played here? Several, but there is something, contra W's account, that they have in common.

W. challenged us to say what all games have in common. The answer, one he tried but failed to discount, is that all games have players. Everyone here has 'playing a language game' in common. We are not all playing the same language game, of course, but we are all gradually forming a second-order game over and above the particular games we are playing.

Soon, if this process continues, there will be a core of meanings the longtime players will share and newcomers will learn.

We are creating a common language game here. And beyond this particular site, the Web generally is having the effect of creating a World Wide language game.

Soon theory will be possible again. That, I beleive, is what he'd say.

His ghost will link up with the ghost of Alan Turing.

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether it's by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know that one life breathed easier because you have lived...is to have succeeded
