hun i am a lesbian and i sometimes go into the chat rooms to meet new people...they get very nasty because you don't want to cyber with them...but bare in mind that alot of these people are men acting as women...there are alot of true lesbian's in these rooms who are out to make new friends..its just the case of finding the real ones....it does take time Hun....take care

Most of the people in lesbian chatrooms are teenage boys(either chronologically or emotionally).
As another example, take a look at the questions/answers regarding lesbains in Yahoo Answers. The nasty messages were all written by boys.

Heck, every time i look for a good lesbian chatroom (any chatroom for that matter) its just crammed with bots and automated adverts.
I never get a chance to actually chat with or meet anybody; which is a shame cause i love to chat.

If its love you are after, you'll find out that there are "nice" lesbians in chatrooms too!

av arlways been nice to people in chat rooms, unless they were being rude to me, in which case u can put them on ignore, or wind them up, in the nicest possible way, till they leave u alone out of being bored.
it is true that a lot of the people in lesbian chat rooms are inadequate men though, hiding behind their screen. very sad individuals, seriously they need to get a life or a better hobby.
av found the online forums that are available do help you to get to know other lesbians more easily than in chat rooms too.
so yeah, people in chat rooms, lesbian or other can be nasty, but its usually as a result of being harrassed for being a lesbian. we lesbians are not necessarily any more nasty than anybody else, simply a cross section of society.

Being honest i can be quite short and rude to ppl in chat rooms i call it standing up for myself but i always have a reason. Also for the record none of the girls i have met up with off chat have been men !. I would advise taking your time and get to really know the ones u get on with it is rewarding, that would be about one in a hundred tho so be patient.

If you want to really contact 'real' lesbians, join a well-run online forum. You get to know people much better through their reasoned debate of issues than the moronic ASL carry-on you get in chat rooms.
