December 12, 2012 at like 12:12, or something like that. But weren't they saying that about June 6, 2006?

I do and the first thing I know is that the calendar isn't ending.
It's the Mayan Long Count calendar (which the Aztecs did not use) which is supposedly "ending" on 12-21-2012, but it's not. It's the 12th Baktun ending. That's like our calendar going from 1999 to 2000, except a Baktun is 396 years long.
On that day, there is a grand astronomical alignment at dawn with the Sun and the Milky way which only happens once every 26,000 years. This heralds the birth of a new Sun, a new World Age. But that doesn't mean our age ends that day--energetically it's already over and has been for at least 10-15 years.
Read "Maya Cosmogenesis 2012" by John Major Jenkins for a lot more on this subject. Read my 2012 article on my Jaguar Nights blog or my regular website for other information on that day.

Yes I know about it, they were said to predict the end of Atlantis, which is why some people are scared that they're going to be correct about the actual world ending. Whether this is true or not I can't say, but I do know that the Mayans were very mysteriously intelligent, perhaps we would be too if we weren't dumbed down by TV and such. They were said to have exceptional photographic memory, such as drawing the exact same picture down to the curve on different stone plates. And using this the studied the planets movements (somehow I'm not sure) ..and they calculated when the earth would end, I don't know how they do this either. But there's other events on the mayan calendar that have came true, I don't know these either, perhaps you should search, I know I'm going to you got me interested in it again lol. Hope this helps, if this was a question?

Don't put too much stock in that. At least, don't lose sleep over it.
People have been predicting the end times forever! As far as the Aztec calendar is concerned, they just stopped their calendar-making when they reached a certain date.
Remember, those civilizations (the Mayan and the Aztecs) were already in decline and some catastrophic event probably caused them to stop working on their calendar altogether. It does not signal the 'end times.'

Ms. Bert is right. But a lil to add. It's the End of An Age, like the stone, bronze, iron...ect...We are moving into the Golden Age, not the end of the world. More Enlightened states of mind. More of that of Atlantis before it was destroyed. Now if you want to talk theories of the End of the World, Armageddon, Ect...Look at the Middle east. It said in Ezekiel, That the land of Gog, Magog, would rise against the nation of Israel. From the North, East, West and South....Lebanon is North of Israel. Persia or Saudi Arabia is to the East. Cyprus is the West, and I cant remember whats to the south...but here I am goin on about a whole other subject. Its more of an FYI

yes in 2012
Some people belive this is the date of the end of the world.
It's also supposedly encripted in the bible that an asteroid will end the world that same year. And I think(not positive) that Edgar Casey had a prophecy of the same year as well..
Aaron H- Your right.. But that was the asteroid they found, they have no way of searching the entire sky and said that one could hit before that, that they have not seen. I don't believe it yet, it's supposedly encripted in the bible. If a major earthquake hits California in 2008, then maybe I will give it more thought.. That is also supposedly encripted..
For the record- I don't belive any of that, I don't think the world will end any time soon and humanity will find a way to outlast Earth...
