Unfortunately that happens all the time. It doesn't start out that way, but marriages end up that way all the time.
Many people stay in those relationships out of habit or because of finances or the children.
I 'm older and have been married twice, but I still prefer love over money or convenience.

Sure, but it is not a "yes or no" question. There are many flavors of "love." I presume you are referring to romantic involvement.
I have been in genuinely "in love" twice in my entire life. The first at 17 and the second at 32. My young love was incredible. She was looking for more than what I was confident to do at that age. I know that I injured her. The reality is that it injured me more.
She wasn't perfect, but I didn't care. Her physical attributes were not what I would claim as ideal, but I found her stunningly gorgeous. I can only conclude that it was a pheromone bio thing.
I still care for her now--decades later. I know all about her but we've never communicated again. She knows a summary of my life since then through Classmates.
I wish her well and will probably check on her forever--just because I do genuinely still care for her.

yes u can fall in love with anybody if u let it. u wouldnt want to b with someone who would not love u no matter how sexy or hot that person is. in the end u want someone to love u and thats what a marriage is a pact till death do us part. u will dedicate ur life as should he, to each other. so dont fall for someone that wont love u but how do u know he cant. u never know what could happen. so good luck

you really can love someone who couldn't love you but it will cause you pain in the end so best is try to forget about that person(if you know that the person doesn't love you at all).
Well if you don't know whether that person loves you or not, ask 1st before you do anything.

The heart does what it wants! I would like to think that "NO" this wouldn't happen but it could. As soon as I found out the one I loved didn't/or no longer loved me, I'd try to free myself. "I can't make you love me... if you don't. You can't make your heart feel something it won't..." love that song.

Yes. But I would try to get over it and realize that Love has to go both ways.

Love someone who 'could not' or would not? no dont think i could. I give love and expect to get the same in return, fairs fair. You get nowhere cos they dont repsect you.
