There is so little difference between Canada and New Zealand that you might as well settle in both places. Since they are in opposite hemispheres, you will be able to have summer all year just by spending 6 months in one home, then 6 months in the other.

I'm not anti-NZ never having been there before, but I am pro-Canada. I think Shania Twain, a Canadian country singer, tried to or perhaps has already bought land in NZ, so she might have a different perspective.

I think Canada is great. Awesome people, great cities, and the country side is beautiful.
