I am a freshman who is tasked to create a closing remarks. You know, for an oratorical contest? Any ideas? FREAKING DESPERATE!!!!!!!

it's hard to be specific when we don't know what your theme is, but a good basic structure is:
sumarize your position
adress the oppositions points
re-state your conclusion.

Just stand up there, look down, pause for a couple seconds, and then look up real fast and screm; "Let's DANCE", and throw your papers up in the air doing a jig. Everyone will laugh and cheer and clap and start dancing like the sheep-idiots they are, and will completely forget about everything else. You can then proceed to duck out, and the next day you will be a school legend.

Read OTHER PEOPLE'S closing remarks/closing statements and you will get a better sense for a style that works for YOU!
