The original "out of towners" not the Steve Martin one , filmed years ago but still funny.
Both of the "the gods must be crazy" films, simple plot a tribe who have never seen modern life discover a coke bottle & believe it is a gift from the gods.
Anything with Terence Hill & Bud Spencer in them not just the comedy westerns but also the others like "whoever finds a film finds treasure" always funny.

A lot of film theory people say it's Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" (1940). I didn't find it so funny. To me, the Marx Brothers' "Duck Soup" (1933) is a better one, and several Marx Brothers films are hilarious.
The trouble with comedy is that it is not as universal as tragedy or general drama. Jokes are tied to particular times and places, and cultural sensibilities, and you need to know these to understand a lot of the irony and humour. The fact that you can watch the Marx brothers after 70 years and still crack up laughing is a real tribute to them.

My all time favorite funny movie has to be "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" (1989). Starring comedy legends, Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.
It's MURDER! The blind guy couldn't see it. The deaf guy couldn't hear it. Now they're both wanted for it. Dave (Gene Wilder) is deaf and Wally (Richard Pryor) is blind. A man is murdered and they witness it, sort of. The police don't think they're credible witnesses, but the killers don't want to take any chances. Now they must work together to save themselves and bring the killers to justice.
Wally: These streets are bumpy.
Dave: You're driving on the sidewalk!
Capt. Braddock: Who's driving that car?
Det. Gatlin: I think it was the blind guy.
Dave: Don't look at me, watch the road.
Wally: Ok, if it makes you feel better.
Dave: Look out! COWS, COWS, COWS. We're in a warehouse, and you just hit a cow. I think we better back up.
