When u can promise yourself:

1. You will not get lazy and will remove your contact lens at the end of each day

2. You will wash your lens after each wear

3. You will not get frustrated when one lens get stuck inside the corner of your eyeball, and you cannot find it even after minutes of searching and your eye is already tearing from the irritation, plus you are already late for your date and/or school.

4. You will remember to bring contact lens case and solution when you travel/sleep-over.

5. You will always have enough solution.

6. You will not misplace your lens and/or when you drop on the floor at the last second & get flustered when you can't find them, plus, you are already late for your date.

7. You won't regret even when 1 len drop out during a movie because you cried, which will feel weird since you can only see with 1 good eye, while the other remains blur.

Apart from that, contact lens is good! I encourage them. I started wearing them when I was 16.

I have been given my first pair of glasses in kindergarten, so i became into approximately 5. i understand, i became into relatively youthful. i began donning contacts the summer season in the previous seventh grade. so because it relatively is while i became into 12, i think. i've got not got prescription sunlight glasses or transitional lenses. I do, even nonetheless, have prescription swim goggles. via the way, I exceedingly propose contacts. they seem to be a million circumstances greater effective than glasses. basically saying (:

Get an exam from a reputable opthomologist and see how your vision is and see if you need glasses or contact lenses...

when I worked for an eye doctor he suggested age 13, but it could be a couple of years earlier IF they are responsible kids.

Any time. They will teach you exactly how to insert and remove them, and they're so much better than glasses.
