No that is probably not true....the pain will most likely stop as soon as it is over.......and you probably wont have a wound either....if you see blood its probably just your hymen..no biggie. you'll be fine for your trip

After 20 days of having sex for the 1st time you now should not be having any problems. You say you're in pain. You shouldn't be by now.
Go see a doctor right now - you may have contracted a STD or be having another problem that only a doctor could advise.
You talk of a wound? Was it so very rough sex that you were injured?
Always wash the area after sex and you should wash that area of the body with warm water and soap anyway.
Go see your doctor - I'm a little worried about you.

It won't be too bad, assuming your partner is gentle. There is a good chance it will be painful starting out, and for some women it is painful throughout the entire first time. You may bleed a little (or a lot). You might be a little sore for a little while afterwards.
However, being unable to sit for extended periods of time afterwards is pretty much untrue, unless your parner is very much *not* gentle.
No sterilization is required, and you only need to perform your usual cleaning routines afterwards. No real wound is made, especially if care is taken by your mate.
BTW: MAKE SURE HE USES A CONDOM!! It will probably make things better for him if it's his first time, and, combined with the following suggestion, it'll probably be better for you too.
You might think about stopping by your local Wal-Mart or similar general store/pharmacy *beforehand* to pick up some lubricating jelly like KY or Astroglide before hand. It can make the first time a little smoother for you.

Most women do not have a "wound", pain or even bleed at all. If you use a condom there will be no risk of infection, or pregnancy. Your questions suggest maybe you are not ready for sex, as you seem more worried about the physical than the emotional aspect of intimacy.

well first of all you should use a condom the first time to be safe, and it is also easier to clean up after wards. and yes soap and water just as you do everyday to keep clean and fresh. wound? its not like you are going to get all cut up or anything..lol you ll be OK, and i don't know about not being able to sit down or anything like that it ain't that bad, maybe your friend was just with someone that was bigger than normal.

I do not believe any of that. I mean if its your first time to make love you may bleed a little. but not en ought to worry you and unless your husband is very rough I can not see why you should be in pain. as for not being unable to sit that is com pleat rubbish. I hope you have a good wedding and great marriage may God bless you

Try not to walk a lot, it may only make it worse, you can try putting some Petrolium jelly around it, so when you walk, it wouldnt be that painful.
