yes. I was asleep one night and my husband had his hand on my butt while we were sleeping, all of a sudden he yelled and jumped out of bed. Apparently I farted on his hand

I guess that is a relevant question. The average human farts fifteen times a day, but it really varies from person to person. We fart the most at night because when we lay down our bowels shift and release the gases. When we stand up later in the morning, we fart a lot because the bowels are shifted upright.
