Would you mind it if I charged you a nickel for each time you use the word "like" extra-grammatically?

Awesome - this used to be a word of great power--now it refers to everything from the aurora borealis (which is a powerful sight) to the new pair of jeans so and so bought at the Gap.
Impact. There used to be several verbs used which gave nuanced meanings to this idea --effect, influence, etc. Now everything is 'impact' as if we all went around bombing each other. As in "That impacted America", which a bomb would, but if we're talking about an idea "influence" would probably be better.
The lack of a nuanced vocabulary is really dumbing down (another one of the overused words) the English language, in my opinion.

The phrase "at the end of the day" is starting to drive me insane. The phrase finally replaced the over-used phrases "when all is said and done" and "the bottom line," but now is over-used itself. Why do we replace over-used words and phrases with other phrases which we then over-use? Expand your vocabulary, people!

"Love". Sometimes people use it for everything, and for everyone...so that by the time they tell you...you aren't sure if they mean like they love chocolate, or as in a friend, or do they mean they are in love with you. See what I mean? It can get very confusing.

I'm not so concerned about overused words, but more about grammar - read your question outloud!

"like"
Not to come across as a wise guy, but I am referring to "like" as an over-used sentence filler - which even occurred twice in your own question.
