I think opportunity knocks all the time, but it takes a certain kind of person, at a certain time in their life to be able to see it and act on it.

No!! I think it can knock several times in a variety of ways and as usual we are too busy sucked into our lives that we don't notice it so we think it only knocks once.
Opportunity knocked like 5 times for my sister in a period of 2 years. Stupid b****.
