Here's all the ratings and their meanings.

G - General Audiences, meaning appropriate for all ages. This doesn't mean it's a childrens film though, there are no extreme profanities, maybe hell and damn are the worst heard but not many times. No sex or drugs are present.

PG - Parental Guidance, this means parents need to watch this movie before letting children view, there may be some minimal profanities or very brief nudity such as the backside. There are is no sex or drugs present here either, some sensuality can be expected

PG-13 - (Parental Guidance especially for children under 13)Stronger profanities are present here, no extreme nudity, but possibly a quick flash of some unmentionables. Extreme profanities may be used but is usually only used once the entire movie. There may be some drug and sexual references but does not usually show it.

R - Restricted, anybody under 17 need a parent or guardian. An R-rated film may include strong language, violence, nudity, drug abuse, other elements, or a combination of all these elements.

NC-17 (Absolutely nobody under the age of 17 allowed, even with guardian) The reasons for the application of an NC-17 rating can be excessive violence, sex, aberrational behavior, drug abuse or any other elements which, when present, most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their children.

PG - Parental Guidance Suggested - Some material may not be suitable for children
All ages are admitted to PG movies. The PG rating suggests that certain colorful words may be in the film, as well as light violence and sensuality. However, there will generally be no nudity, and the harsher words won't be included.
