Some classic movies should never be re-made!

Here is a better idea then just remaking a film.
How about taking the basic premise of a movie and taking it in a completely different direction eg....
North by Northwest - the Hitchcock thriller.Premise ......a man is mistaken as a criminal and is hunted down.That's the basic premise of it,now you can go in so many directions with that not just in action sequences but in plot development,you could have that as as simple or as complicated as you want.
I think that would be so much better than just a straight remake and you never know you might get something special from it too

People should see the originals at least if they are going to remake old movies. I think that the moive called Deep Valley with Ida Lupino should be remmade. I think it was made 1940s. It should star Russel Crowe and Emmy Rossum.

The Night of the Hunter with Jude Law; after his rôle in Road To Perdition, he could add something different to Robert Mitchum's excellent performance in the original 1955 film
