To find the Highest Common Factor using the cross division method is as follows:

180/2 is a factor of 180, 180 divided by 2 is 90

90/2 is a factor of 90, 90 divided by 2 is 45

45/3 is a factor of 45, 45 divided by 3 is 15

15/3 is a factor of 15, 15 divided by 3 is 5

5/5 is a factor of 5, 5 divided by 5 is 1

The highest Common factor is:
2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 = 180
