I would go back to 1755. From that point on I would spend the next 30 years or so engaged in the following activities:
- advising Austrian Empress Maria Theresa to either educate her daughter Marie Antoinette, or else choose a more serious daughter to marry Louis 16th
- advising Gustav III not to take Baron Armfeldt on the trip to Italy, because although Armfeldt was loyal and dedicated, he often showed off and acted immature
- advising Gustav III never to trust Catherine II
- advising Louis 16th:
>to never trust his brothers or cousins
>to never let his wife advise him about politics
>to not hunt so many hundreds of animals because the hunting party would end up trampling the peasants' crops
>to stay with the same finance minister and avoid Jacques Necker
>to keep a close eye on anyone named Herbert, Robespierre, Bonaparte, or Polignac

If I could go back in time I would want to only stay for about one to five days and not longer due to the health conditions back then. I would travel to the City of Atlantis before it was submerged under water. To Greece to view their worshiping and culture. I'd like to see King Arthur and the knights of the round table. I've always wanted to see what they called a dragon back then as well as to be able to wear the real clothes of that time period. To travel back to the time of England in the early 1600's. To be there when Ben Franklin discovered electricity. I could go on and on ...

It would be even cooler upon my return from traveling that there was no time lost in the present.

i hate history..and geography...and social studies...but if i could go back in time i would go to the indian times. But in my lifetime I would go back to May of 2005. Sooo many things i could have saved myself and friends from. But i would rather go into the future, past where my life span will take me.
