At the end of our DNA strands are little string-like things called telemeres. Among other things that telemeres do, they wear down as we get older. When they are used up, so to say, we don't live any longer. Now, just hypothetically, mind you, what if parasites, such as a tiny virus species, was found to have locked down the natural new growth of our telemeres so that we do not actually get to live our telemere's natural life span? And, what if we found out that, if such a parasite exists, that without it's infection in our bodies, our natural life span is actually 9700 years? Just hypothetically, of course.

I like to live for ever, but this is not my hands, when my time is to die no body will be able to stop,so I say I will prefer to live the time I am healthy, and I can do my impotent things my self,so short happy life is beter then long nasty life.

probably depends on how I take care of myself...This is a fun thing to look at though http://www.deathclock.com/ it says I will die June 15, 2050...not that I believe in that but I thought it was weird...and I like weird things..I kinda look at genetics...according to my grands and great grands, they all lived to there middle 80's...so REALLY my death clock was right...I will be 85 in 2050...
