As a teacher, I must regularly write reflection statements on lessons, coursework, and Professional Development Plans, for my evaluations.

1. What did you expect prior to the project starting?
2. What were key points in the project that impacted the way you thought?
3. How did you adapt to changes?
4. How have you grown/changed as a result of the experience?
5. How will this experience affect future work?

A reflection statement is just what it says, you reflect , or think about the project. What did you like or not like, what you would change the next time to make it better? What did others think about it, was it a success or failure? Would you like to do it again? Would it be successful with a different age group? Any other activities that would reinforce the project or make it more fun?

Hindsight is 20/20. You can always see something that needs to be worked on after a project is completed. Good luck!

It's not really that hard. Just look back over how the project went and your performance, and then write about what went according to plan and what didn't.

For example,

1) What was the objective? Was this met? Was it modified somehow?

2) Was it completed on-time? Any problems along the way that weren't anticipated?

3) What went well? What went wrong?

4) Any unresolved or unexpected issues and/or conflicts?

here's how i do reflection papers: first, find what made the project interesting. carefully state its peculiarities, what makes it interesting and most of all describe how it made you feel (it has to always be what its impact on you is). then after that, i enumerate or briefly describe problems encountered (if any) and what are the actions taken to solve it. finally, how i felt after the project was completed (satisfied, relieved, frustrated etc) and some future plans or recommendations...
