Yes I agree with the gut feeling. You should ALWAYS listen to it.

For some reason who knows and who really cares... You are telling yourself don't do it. And in that case, just don't do it.

If your gut feeling is about someone else, listen to it as well.

But you have to be sure you are having a gut feeling and it's not coming from your mind.
Then it wouldn't be a gut feeling would it?

I do agree with gut feel, of course it depends where you are applying it. In general where you don't have sufficient skills or data points to make a systematic or structured decisions, you use your experience based sense to take a calculated risk and make the decision. That's where I feel its not just instinct because instinct doesn't require experience where as generally gut-feel is practically more inclined to get an assessment of situation based on previous experience of similar or nearly matching situations.

Yes -- but within the balance of all other factors involved--to run one's decision skills "from the gut" is asking alot of one's instincts-- It is constantly essential that one learns and gains knowledge--for it is with these in play that a good read is created in the gut to begin with

Yes. I think your mind works faster than you know, and that little computer in your head analyzes all the odd bits of info floating around you, and reaches a conclusion that you think of as a hunch.
