This question is SERIOUS. I wanted to know if anyone else had this glitch. When your in the SHADOW TEMPLE and your crossing over to that big bird head thing with the hover boots, I saw a shadow running past me from the ledge to the bird head. Then the ship in the same temple the "ghost ship" wasn't even there some of the time then when sometimes it took off it fell not even 6 seconds into it riding. Then I heard chicken cries when I was fighting Bongo Bongo. (the boss in the Shadow Temple). Then this ONLY happened ONCE when I entered the Shadow Temple (st) there was a message and someone said "get out!" not in vocal but you know the letters yeah. One time the bird head turned all on its own when I wasn't even using it. It scared the life out of me I didn't use that game in a month. Anyone else have these glitches? If so PLEASE TELL ME.

That is really creepy, I think I remember the voice telling me to get out, but I must point out one obvious fact, it is the SHADOW temple located in a GRAVEYARD where TROUBLED SOULS were laid to rest. It is possible that the programmers threw in some weird things like that to aggravate and creep out people like you who are alert enough to see that. (for the shadow, is it possible that it was your character's shadow cast on what was programmed as floor? N64 didn't have super programming, so to distinguish floor = pit from floor = walking surface may not have been programmable to the N64)
