magic was a great passer but i wouldn't go as far as say he was the best...other contenders would be bob cousy, john stockton, guy rodgers. or oscar robertson...but for me i have yet to see a more amazing passer than the late great pistol pete maravich...his moves were a thing of beauty...i remember one where during a fast break he whipped a pass in between a running opponents legs for an easy layup for his teamate and get this. he did it behind his back
