Yes I was dressed as a ballarina for a Halloween party once.
The tutu was black and orange and the outfit and makeup was very realistic.
I won the first prize and awarded the good sport of the night award.
Won't do it again, though!

Yup! I was in ballet for about eight years, and one of my recital costumes was a bona fide, honest-to-goodness tutu. It was a pastel blue, and had a long skirt. It looked a bit like this one:

Except mine was slightly more low-tech (no sparkles, and no bow in the back). And the skirt was a bit shorter, if I recall correctly.
I think we still have it somewhere, actually.
