Create a need and fill it. :)

There are so many viruses out there that no one has ever heard of except the anti-virus companies. What is up with that? Makes me wonder.

Antivirus companies certainly don't make viruses because if anyone found out they'd lose their credibility and go out of business.
But I'd bet that some of their employees are making them, or were making them without company knowing.

Well I have noticed that every time I get a virus I start getting pop-ups for virus removal software (I would never buy one of those BTW) So I would have to say there are some who do this.

i think not.....virus is created by programmers who hate the Internet so much, they also don't care about other people computers...that why the anti virus companies start making anti-virus software....these companies want to protect us from the evil virus...

Some have done so. Be sure that you obtain anti-virus (and all other) software from a reputable vendor.

No, they have plenty of work keeping up with what others make. Why would they make even more work for themselves?
