On the contrary! If astronauts would ever see UFOs, NASA would be the first to broadcast the fact.
NASA needs funding desperately and such sightings would convince Congress to provide more of it.

Well the nasa video is already out there.. and the miss broadcasts of instructions relationg to "sightings" of unidientified craft while in orbit DO exsist.. on video and transcript boracasted on national TV no doubt.

I think it would be more important to exsamine the actual impact of contacts have had rather then the cover up thats all encompassing on the subject.

watch the skies.

Of course UFO just means "unidentified" flying object. There are many thousands of devices and space garbage floating arount Earth, a problem of collision in some cases. Closer to Earth there are thousands of designs of remote controlled aircraft from dozens of nations. Add in simple misperception of common aircraft and the occasional mysteries of nature like mirages, it's no wonder UFOs have always been seen. Are any of them space aliens?

It's healthy that we love our extraterrestrial creature stories and mythologies, but important to know the limits of our perceptions too.

Ohh, I'm sure they're a bureaucracy with all the red tape, and non-disclosure agreements of any other...

If for no other reason than to give them time to evaluate claims for more mundane causes before someone goes off half-****** blabbing about little green men.

i would say that anything done or seen by NASA astronauts while in space would be completely and totally classified unless otherwise cleared by NASA and/or the U.S. government
