Is it true that in the 70's Texas voted on leaving the Union? if this is true, what was the reason behind it? and if this is true can someone give me any sources in which I can read more about this?

No. it's not true. There has been talk of Texas seceding from the Union, but it has been tongue in cheek every time I have heard it.

No! But it is true that Texas has the option of dividing into 5 states, thus altering Texas Representatives and adding more Texas votes in the congress!

yes it involved Joseph Smith, the union and 70's Texas voted, he was also the founder of Mormons, he was Multi talented union leader and religious inventor. if you want to read more you cant because all the transcripts were destroyed by the angel ABBAS.
