do lot of writing at work and staple lot all day atwork have feeling in it just numb feeling at or below knuckle any ideas on hand not hurting also thanks

Could be carpal tunnel syndrome.

Neuresthenia is the blocking of the sensory nerve.. there is pressure somewhere above your hand. It can emminate from your neck clear down to your hand. But, can also be pressure from one of the carpal bones in the wrist. Being somewhat displaced. Not an uncommon symptom. Carpal tunnel is a bit exaggerated thought, at this point.

Arthritis is usually painful , i have never heard of it making anything numb . It could either be carpal tunnel syndrome . Or you might have a pinched nerve in your neck !

it could be a repetative motion injury, causing the nerves to go numb. I had real trouble with a shoulder but Thank God the pain finally went away after a couple of years.

I don't' know about arthritis, but MAY be an early indication of carpal tunnel? Ask Your doc. Anytime you are doing repetitive stuff, be careful about that.

It sounds like strain.

There are ergonomically formed pens that should alleviate all the symptoms you mentioned.
