Why did zidane hit Marco Materazzi ?

Did he do the right thing?
Did the Refree do the right thing?
Was Materazzi guilty too?

Because Materazzi was saying all bad about his mother and sister. I would certainly say he did the right thing. Well the referee did the right thing then because he did not know why he hit'em. Materazzi is guilty!

In the middle of the game, materazzi help Zidane's chest, pinching his nipples.

Zidane said" If you really want my shirt, you can have it after the game"

Materazzi replied back..."I'd rather have the shirt off your mom"

That was too much and WHAM!!
