If I am using my own laptop (Apple Powerbook) but someone else's wireless connection, can they track my internet history? Can they tell from a differnt computer what websites I visit?

It's unlikely but possible. If there was, for example, a proxy server between that access point and the Internet, then yes, everything could be logged and/or captured.

If you are talking about someone's personal wireless network, then most likely there is no logging. If it's a corporate network, logging probably IS done.
